Bob Aardema has been practicing law for over 30 years. He has tried approximately 200 cases in the areas of auto negligence, 1st party PIP defense, wrongful death, medical malpractice, premises liability and errors & omissions. He has been selected as an arbitrator in binding arbitration. He has also served as a case evaluator for many years.

Bob is currently offering his expertise as a facilitative mediator. He has completed his mediation certification with the Institute of Continuing Legal Education.

What makes Bob unique is the relationship he's maintained with both sides of the bar not withstanding his zealous advocacy of his client in his cases taken to trial. His peers know him to be a fair and honest lawyer who is more than capable of applying his skills without partiality to bring parties together for mutually beneficial resolutions.

Since 2007, he has been named in the area of personal injury defense as a Michigan Super Lawyer, a rating service of outstanding lawyers who have obtained a high degree of peer recognition and professional accomplishment.

He is also an invited member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the right to civil jury trial provided by the seventh amendment to the United States Constitution.

He is a former member of American Inns of Court, an organization designed to improve the skills, professionalism and ethics of the bench and bar.
